A child in need of care, protection, rehabilitation and social rehabilitation as recommended by the Child Welfare Committee
Facilities provided: Food, clothing, shelter, medical, recreation, formal / non-formal education, vocational training, counselling, etc.
Financial Grants: NGOs - Rs. 2000 per child, per month
At present 22 government orphanages are functioning in the state; Beneficiary Sanction Capacity 1175
302 voluntary orphanages are functioning; Sanctioned entry Capacity 18006
