Scheme Details 

• Government of Maharashtra vide decision dated April 02, 2018, introduced 1% parallel reservation in open category for orphans in getting education or government jobs;
• To benefit orphans, whose documents do not mention any caste and there is no information about his/her parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents, cousins or other relatives.
• Certificates will be issued to children admitted in aided / unaided child care institutions under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection) Act, 2015.
• Government Employment: Sh. No. Applicable for direct recruitment by Govt from the date of implementation of
• Education: Scholarships, Hostels and Vocational Training and Reimbursement are applicable in the field of education under the scheme
