Introduction
The scheme of OSC is being implemented since 1st April, 2015 to provide integrated support and assistance to women affected by violence and in distress, both in private and public spaces under one roof and facilitate immediate, emergency and nonemergency access to a range of services including medical, legal, temporary shelter, police assistance, psychological and counselling support to fight against any forms of violence against women.

Objective
To provide help and support such as medical treatment, counselling, police assistant, psychiatric treatment, legal facilities, temporary shelter and food to the needy women including those affected by violence along with their children (girls of all ages and boys upto12 years of age) .
Scheme Details
- Integrated services to women affected by violence under one roof
- If required, she could stay there up to five days. However, for long term stay requirement such women and the victims of trafficking or 18 distressed or destitute women, will be referred to Shakti Sadan where they can stay upto a maximum period of 3 years
- One Stop Centres are established in all 36 districts (One in each district and 2 in Pune district) Existing total 37 Centres in the state.
