Alternative family care is provided for temporary periods of time for childrens whose parents are unable to take care for their children due to illness, death, separation of one parent or any other crisis / reason.
Rs. 1100/ child / month, are directly deposited into the family's bank account
Rs. 125/month/child is given to NGO for implementation of scheme i.e cover administrative expenses
The District Women and Child Development Officer runs the scheme in districts where there are no NGOs
